They had a program about how the dinosaurs became extinct specifically the cretaceous period dinosaurs. They seemed pretty confident it was a catastrophic asteroid that was responsible for the mass extinction that ended most large dinosaur species in the cretaceous period. Especially with the evidence of the k-9 layer in the layers of earth. Then a commercial came on and it was a documentary about how turkeys are descendants of the velociraptor. This can't be that obvious of an error in science, how could a modern day turkey evolve from something that was supposedly wiped off the face of the Earth by an asteroid? It can't evolve from it if its species went extinct. So how can scientists make that claim?
